TRAIL STATS: Strenuous, 8.2 miles, 4,525 ft elevation gain. Top elevation: 8,365 ft
TRAIL DESCRIPTION: Mount Saint Helens Summit via Ptarmigan Trail is an 8.2 mile heavily trafficked out and back trail located near Cougar, Washington that features beautiful wildflowers and is only recommended for very experienced adventurers. The trail offers a number of activity options and is accessible year-round.
