Latinxhikers at Zion National Park

Due to limited space, we will be using a lottery system* to select participants. We are a hiking group that highlights  Latinx and BIPOC experiences. This event is only for Latinx + BIPOC folks.

How to Enter:

1. Click RSVP and fill out the form to enter the lottery.
2. Submit RSVP by August 9th.

Important Details:

• We will select participants of marginalized groups then at random from the submissions.
• You will be notified of the results on August 12th.
• Please make sure you're able to attend if you are signing up. Space is limited.
• After being selected we will ask for a refundable deposit of $70 to secure your spot. It will be refunded once you get to Zion.

Once Selected:

• You will receive an email with further details and instructions.

The event will have a full itinerary ready for Saturday. Sunday will be freestyle with suggestions on hikes/activities at the park :) 

The following is covered:

• Entry fee to National Park
• A spot to camp at at Watchman Camp gound inside the National Park from Thursday September 5- Monday September 9th.
• Tent, sleeping bag, sleeping pad rentals from REI if necessary. Please bring yours if you have them :)
• Saturday Ride with Ranger program, transportation inside the National Park
• Gear for the narrows (boots, walking sticks, overalls)

Not Covered:

• Transportation to Utah
• Transportation to Zion National Park
• Meals
• Showers + Laundry

*What is a lottery system? A lottery system means you enter your name, and we randomly select attendees from the entries to ensure everyone has a fair chance to join the event.
