Tubing Down the Toccoa River

Latinxhikers & MakersHaus are coming together this hot hot summer with a fun tubing trip down the Toccoa River in North Georgia!! We will meet at the Toccoa Valley parking lot at 11:30 am and get on the river at 12 pm! The entire route should take about 2 hours. 

After we tube, we will drive 12 minutes to Lake Blue Ridge where we will have lunch, swim, and just have a good time! Bring your inflatables and other summertime toys!

River details: Normally the flow is pretty good allowing for a relaxed float; however, the section that you will be tubing through has rapids classed at 1 & 2. You will have plenty of boulders to navigate to keep you on your toes. You do not need to be experienced to participate but you do need to know how to swim and tread water.

Parking: FREE

Cost: $10

What to bring: water, snacks, bathing suit, towel, water shoes, dry bag/box, sunscreen, sunhat, sunglasses, change of clothes. Please eat and hydrate before arriving. We will be on the water for about 2 hours before we eat lunch. Leave all vauables at home or in car. I'ts easy to lose things in the river.
